LUXHUB Marketplace a finalist in ACA Insurance Innovation Awards
LUXHUB is happy to announce that we have been selected to compete in the final round of the ACA (Association des compagnies d’assurances et de réassurances du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg, the Luxembourgish association of insurance and reinsurance companies) Insurance Innovation Awards.
For the second consecutive year, ACA is organizing its Insurance Innovation Awards – in partnership with the LHoFT – to reward the start-up that has made the best contribution to the insurance industry over the past year.
Pushing the concept of Open Insurance
LUXHUB, an Open Finance pioneer in Europe, was selected to pitch in front of ACA’s jury – composed of seasoned professionals – and to describe the added-value of our Marketplace and its vision on the transformation of the insurance industry.
We recently welcomed the first Open Insurance API into our Marketplace, developed by Bâloise Group in Luxembourg, which enables financial institutions to integrate mortgage insurance quotes directly within their core banking systems.

Many more concrete use cases could also be explored by insurance companies, creating new revenue streams, boosting their overall innovation processes and answering to the changing needs of their customers by providing them with tailored services.
The API Economy is opening the door for traditional companies to enter the era of Open Insurance. Since the very inception of LUXHUB, we have been convinced about the potential of Open Finance to drive tangible and sizable impact in the wider financial services sector
